The Epics are a Professional Wedding and Function band.
We play a large number of weddings, parties and corporate events throughout the year, and travel across the UK for events every week.
With 4 professional instrumentalists and vocalists, we pride ourselves on being able to provide a diverse range of music to suit all tastes. We have been described as a ‘function band super group’. We love to learn new songs for events and would be more than happy to work with you to create a bespoke playlist.
Prices are standardised so you can book with confidence, knowing exactly what you’ll get. Our standard wedding and function package includes a DJ service prior to, and after, the band sets. Prices include set up and pack down time. All gear is provided and all our electrical equipment is PAT tested for everyone’s safety. Additionally, we carry up £10 million pounds of public liability insurance.

MEET THE BAND
Mark has been a professional singer and musician since the age of 14, and has been playing and singing in professional function bands for over a decade. As a founding member of The Epics, he has played over 100 gigs just within the last year. Mark brings ingenuity, passion and energy to his vocals and performance. His original music has been featured on BBC Radio 6, has been played as record of the week on BBC Radio York, and broadcast on many other radio stations worldwide. Mark has also played support slots with The Lightning seeds and performed regularly in Camden and other London venues. Mark has worked as a session vocalist in a variety of studios in London over the last few years. He is a highly experienced and accomplished musician, who brings originality and style to every performance.
Tom has gained an admirable reputation for his adaptability, improvisation and flair in performances, and for being a skilled instrumentalist. Taking in influence from just about every genre, he has recorded and performed for some famous names, including Amy Winehouse.
Tom has been a session musician at the World Famous Parr Street Studios in Liverpool and also played with the Armed Forces Music Corp. He works with many bands, bringing versatility and passion along with his self-taught style. His intuitive and inventive methods add spice to his performance, making every show unique and leaving audiences wanting more.
Mike has been a professional musician from the age of 16. He has travelled the world from Ireland and France to the USA performing in, and with, numerous bands and acts. He has worked as a session musician in world-renowned studios, such as Town House in London, and shared the stage with some of the world’s best-known bands, including Status Quo. A talented and passionate musician, Mike has also had numerous projects played on BBC Radio stations including Radio One. Always up for a great live show, Mike shines and thrives as a live performer.
As a graduate of Leeds College of music, Adam has played at a wide variety of functions and with numerous professional bands, all with a unique style, which he naturally adapts to. Many of Adam’s previous musical projects have been played regularly on BBC radio and also featured on Television, including Hollyoaks.
His exciting and enigmatic style incorporates aspects of widely differing sounds, ranging from hard modern jazz and experimental music, to saccharine sweet pop. Adam brings a natural energy, talent and passion to every performance, seldom seen on the function music circuit.
